Genesis Theme Framework has Update to new version 1.0.1 now , at my last post about i wrote about what is genesis theme framework.

Before we get into what Genesis is, let’s learn what a “theme framework” is. A generally accepted definition of a “theme framework” is a theme built in such a way as to give users a tool with which they can build new themes quickly and easily, taking advantage of an extensive library of extensible functionality, by using a “Child Theme”.

Platinum Child Theme is the first StudioPress Theme to begin using the Dynamic Content Gallery plugin, which is being used on the homepage. Along with that, is the use of “WordPress Post Thumbnails” on the homepage – we’ve created some intermediate sizes to be displayed, which gives the Theme a great look.

At Genesis Theme Framework, each child theme will come with it’s own home file, which will make extending the parent theme very easy. It will also have it’s own functions file as well.
