First we start by defining what is a niche? This is a defined subset of any particular market. For example the word car is a broad search term. You now have defined a large niche but is accomplishing two things you are now narrowed down to people looking for two door sports cars and by them using this refined search are more inclined or in the final stages before making a purchase. People who love to cook usually started at a young age and will continue to do so until they can’t anymore but have most likely passed on their passion to another family member. Other who like to work on cars will spend thousands on parts and accessories. It’s easiest to get started if you choose a niche in which you are both passionate and knowledgable. This way it’s more like fun than work.

So as you can already see there are many niches out there. The trick now becomes how to find the best and most profitable. There are a number of free niche sercvices available and can be found here. They are good but they require you to do a lot more legwork. The more advanced niche tools are complete and all you do is enter a keyword and sit back and let it do all the work.

Once you’ve found your niche you must then do research to find out what the people in this niche want and need. You can read magazines, goto websites, visit forums and groups to get needed info in real-time. Learn the lingo-buzzwords and phrases to focus on. Find out their number one problem and provide a solution.

Now that you have identified the need and the solution you find a product that provides the solution. This is easily done by joining an affiliate program. This is done by signing up for free selecting a product to market and adding your link to your site. The merchant provides the link, payment processing, shipping and handling and the product and you get a percentage of each sale. There are a number of companies that fill this need clickbank, linkshare, shareasale and commission junction to name a few. With just these few companies you’ll find hundreds of thousands of products in any niche imaginable..

Now that you’ve gathered all this info we can now start in earnest to create your webpage. There are two that are most popular right now one being squidoo.com and hubpages.com. Hubpages are simpler to use and squidoo lenses give you more options.

If you can cut and paste and point and click you’re ready to get started. Include the selected niche in your site name and in the page Title this is most important. Next you need to find a picture or graphic to show of your site this should be inserted somewhere at the top of your page. You then insert you article, opinions , life experience focusing on your niche. Another added plus is if you add video which is easily done by going to youtube and entering your keyword. Lastly you add your affiliate links and or banners to generate sales. Once you’re all setup submit your site at submiteasy.com for free. Go back to the forums and groups where you did you research and join up add your signature file with a link back to your site and join in the conversation for added traffic.
